I have been going through the drive thru ever since I started going to Canes. Last week I went in and could not believe how nice the inside of the restaurant is. A few years ago I quit going to the golden aches and the king known completely. The new fast food chains have set a better employee standard and do a good job serving! I have a conflict giving fast food five stars so these folks get four. I'll keep on going back because the product tastes good.

Okay, I normally don't review fast food restaurants, but this one deserves it. Canes only has one menu item- and it's fantastic. The chicken strips are as good as I've ever had, and they're fresh and warm- clearly never put under a heat lamp. The Texas Toast is also really good, as are the french fries. I don't really like the sauce they package stuff with, but that's easy enough to avoid. Great, great fast food and I'll be back as much as I can.

It's Canes...my boy loves it. So we have to hit it every so often to keep him happy. Typical Canes...the chicken is good, the dipping sauce is better and the service is quick & efficient. My only issue with the Siegen Lane locale is the staff could do a better job of wiping down the tables.

In the 8 or 9 years I have patronized Cane's I have never had any portion of my order incorrect. This includes locations in Lafayette, New Orleans and Mississippi....but today....today was the very first day. I know it may not be a big deal to some but when you are like me and have not had a full powered Dr. Pepper in 3 months and you want one really really badly.....it is a big deal. I pulled into a parking spot after getting a cold cup of goodness from the drive thru and I slid my straw in and took a big ole nasty gulp of Diet Coke, ugh!! Oh, if I only had the ability, I would take back half of my forth star.....

This location of Raising Cane's is among the newest, as is the rest of the developing area of Baton Rouge. The establishment itself is clean, large, and well designed. Parking is good, the lunch hours are busy, and the service is very nice. And of course, the food is always its usual stellar, fatty self. Don't forget: Skip the 'slaw, extra texas toast with your chicken fingers meal!

I mentioned that I had never been to a cane's before when I ordered at the drive through. As I was paying for my chicken, the MANAGER came to the window and greeted me personally and thanked me stopping by to have dinner. NOW THATS HOSPITALITY! The chicken was good too.

Small confession - I used to stop here just for a sweet tea :) Canes is one of the very few fast food places I will visit. I don't frequently like greasy foods, but while nursing a hangover you typically just can't resist. Today's visit was quite surprising, as the staff offered me a treat for my puppy while getting some amazing hangover food in the drive thru. The staff at every location has always been incredibly friendly, which is a rarity when it comes to fast food. Keep up the amazing work Todd Graves and staff!

After a long ride from Texas to Baton Rouge, we made a pit stop at Raising Canes. My sons loved their chicken fingers, fries and sweet tea. When in Louisiana, the first thing I want to eat is always something fried and this did not disappoint--a great start to our vacation.

Was passing through and decided to stop by, and man am I glad I did. This place makes some pretty badass chicken strips, their sauce is delectable and the Brewed tea is the Very refreshing. Good friendly service and super clean. Ill definetly be coming here again. Thank you!!

Fast forward 2 and 1/2 years later and now my son who is now 6 1/2 since the last review I wrote can't get enough of this place. He love's going here (Perkins / Bluebonnet) next to Louisiana Lagniappe / across from Perkin's Rowe). We eat here at least once a week. My original review of their fries remains the same, Del Taco still does a better crinkle cut fry, but as long as I can imagine it in my mind I can kind of make Cane's fries work for me. The chicken is always piping hot and always consistently the same quality and the same size. The customer service is spot on and always quirky and funny. No matter how bad a day you've had, when you drive up to their drive-thru, this grown person comes over the come and says something like "what's your chicken pickin'" or something like that, and then it's followed up with fast service and a friendly smile. They even apologize if you've had to wait more than 30 seconds. So yay! I'm a fan. I know my son is.

Are you still living right now just across the street to a Raising Canes. Urban folklore even said the restaurant had vents that pumped out the smell of fried chicken to the public to make us hungry. Let me tell you it sure worked. I still ended up going to the restaurant. I also gained an extra couple of inches around my waist and more than a few extra on my rear end. That definitely would've happened if I wasn't a patron at Cane's! Give this place a shot.

This place ONLY has chicken strips?!?!?! So guess what I ordered? You're right, chicken strips. I ordered them on a bun and there was hardly any sauce so I asked for more and had to PAY! Not that great, sauce is just okay. Probably won't be going back cause it's just not exceptional.

Of all the Chicken Fingers and Strips in the world, none can compare to this quickly growing Baton Rouge based, college student born business. I say this with caution, not failing to recognize and appreciate the merit of the Chik-Fil-A business. What separates Cane's from the rest...THAT CAJUN DIPPING SAUCE! There is no reason to even miss this important point when talking about Cane's! Yes...get the Texas Toast, but get extra sauce! Nuff said!
